Condolences of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in connection with the tragedy in Magnitogorsk

The following statement was made by the Euro-Asia Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church after a gas explosion ripped through an apartment building in southern Russia on December 31. 31 people have now been confirmed dead and 10 still listed as missing.

With deep sorrow, the Seventh-day Adventist Christians, along with all the Russian people, received the news of the tragic events that took place on December 31, 2018 in Magnitogorsk.

On behalf of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Eurasian Division, we express deep condolences to the relatives and relatives of those killed and injured in the gas explosion and the subsequent collapse of the entrance to a residential building in Magnitogorsk.

In sincere prayer, we appeal to the Lord for the health of all those who suffered in this tragedy. We also pray that the Lord will grant consolation and strength to bear the brunt of the irreplaceable loss to those who have lost their loved ones and relatives.
